The Local Governing Board of Discovery Academy wish to appoint a willing, enthusiastic and caring Midday Assistant to supervise, help and play with pupils during the lunchtime break in the playground and dining areas of the Academy.
Midday Assistants assist pupils during the lunch break, working as part of a team, including supervising welfare, behaviour and safety, ensuring a clean and tidy environment, controlling pupil behaviour in line with the Academy’s behaviour policy, dealing with any misbehaviour and liaising with the teaching staff accordingly, responsibility for attending to pupils who may be sick or injured and raise any concerns in terms of welfare and safety to the Principal. The Local Governing Board of Discovery Academy wish to appoint a willing, enthusiastic and hardworking cleaner to clean all areas of the Academy.
Cleaners undertake cleaning duties, individually or as part of a team, the cleaning of a designated area(s) and ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. This will be carried out under the supervision of Site Manager / Caretaker within the premises to ensure high standards of premise care in accordance with cleaning specifications and current Health and Safety Legislation. The role will be for 1 hour 15 minutes per day, Monday to Friday, term time only (39 weeks of the year). The hours will be over the lunchtime period which is between 11:45am and 1:15pm The salary is TMBC Grade A Points 1-2 (£2,712-£2,739 Actual Salary). Closing date of advert: Tuesday 24th May 12pm
